MCT – 30th Edition Release Blog Hop – Diorama card

Happy Friday and welcome to the My Creative Time 30th Edition Release Blog Hop!!!
After an AWESOME week of sneak peeks creations the day has finally come, YAY!  We are revealing all the MCT New Products!  They are Fabulous!  If you came from Lee-Ann’s blog, you are in the right place.  If you just happened to arrive here, you might want to start back at Emma’s blog, so that you don’t miss anything!

To finish the week and continuing in the theme of interactive cards I decided to make a diorama easter card (you can find a tutorial here).  To make this type of card you need to make an opening to see the different levels.  I used a ticket die to do this.  My Creative Time new products were perfect for decorating my easter card 😀

I created stacked grass using the new “Stitched Grass Die” to make a 3D effect.  The eggs, basket, bow, chickie, opened egg and the front sentiment were made using stamps and dies from the new “Hello Chickie!”.  The back sentiment came from an old MCT product “Happy Hunting” stamp set.

Hi everyone and welcome back to our last day of My Creative Time sneak peeks.  I hope you’ve enjoyed the week and been inspired by our wonderful DT 🙂  Today we’re sneak peeking  “Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments” and “Tag Gift Card Pocket Die”.  I’m showcasing a fun birthday accordion card with a pocket for a gift card.

My inspiration for the design came from a left over scrap of confetti card stock paper.  For the sentiments I used the new “Fun Gift Pocket Sentiments” stamp set and the old MCT “Lowercase Fun Dies”.  I embellished the card with floating balloons using old MCT “Stitched Party Dies” and to finish it I added a red banner to the gift card pocket using old MCT “Chocolate Greeting coordinating dies”.  I hope you like it!!!

MCT – February Sneak Peek Day #3 – Spinner card

Hello everyone and welcome to My Creative Time sneak peak day #3.  Today we’re sneak peeking  “Hello Chickie” and “Stitched Grass Die”!  As I said yesterday this week is going to be all about interactive cards.  Today I made a spinner card (you can watch a video tutorial here) which is perfect for Easter.  I made the chick and eggs using the new “Hello Chickie!” stamp set and coordinating dies.  It’s soooo CUTE!  They are tons of stamps to make different pattern eggs and sizes too 😀 I double cut the the grass with the new die to give more depth to the card.

I colored the edges of the chick with a sponge dauber and added some glitter to the egg shell.

MCT – February Sneak Peek Day #2 – Free standing pop-up card

MCT – February Sneak Peek Day #2 – Free standing pop-up card

Hello everyone and welcome back to the second day of My Creative Time 30th edition release sneak peek week.  Today we are sneak peeking “I’m A Lucky Girl” stamp set and coordinating dies.  For a change this week I decided to make interactive cards. Today I made a free standing pop-up card using MCT old product “Tag” dies and chose a St. Patrick’s Day theme.  I learned how to make a pop-up card from Splitcoaststampers.

“I’m a Lucky Girl” is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day projects.  For the front of the card I used the shamrock stamp in different tones of green for a Bokeh effect.  I used orange ribbons and colored the banner (MCT old product “Tab Notes” stamp set) orange to represent the colors of the Irish flag.  I stamped the greeting using MCT old product “You’re My Pot of Gold” stamp set.  The Leprechaun hat die came from “I’m A Lucky Girl”.  I stamped and cut out extra shamrocks coming out of the hat for a whimsical effect 🙂

You reveal the content by pushing down the top edge.  The sentiment and the scroll at the bottom both came from the new stamp set “I’m A Lucky Girl”  and I heat embossed them in gold.  I had extra shamrocks left over 🙂 I added gold to the edge of the card and gold mist to the front.  I love it!  I hope you like it too!

MCT – February Sneak Peek Day #1 – Smash Book

Hello everyone and welcome back to My Creative Time sneak peek week for the 30th release edition!  Today we will be sneak peaking “Bracket Sentiments” & the “Bracket Dies” and the “Chevy Dies”!  For today’s project I created a two page Smash Book about the recent wintry weather in the South.

The Smash Book 365 has tons of different pages to record important events.  This page was dedicated to January 25th that is “The National Opposite Day”.  I thought It was perfect for the weather that we’ve been having because it looks like snow on a wire fence.  On the left page I used MCT old product “Winter Flake Dies” to add some snowflakes in different sizes and color.  To finish it I added some glitter to the snow.

smash-book-365-double-page-lucia-ardon

On the right page I covered a phrase that I didn’t like with some mixed-media.  I used a snowflake stencil, gesso and glass bead gel and on top I sprinkled fine glitter to create a snowy icy look.  I used MCT new product “Chevy Dies” on the top and bottom of my page in bold colors to contrast.  I made a mini flip photo album using the MCT old products “Stitched Journal Die” and “Stitched Circle Tab Die” to hold the pages together and to embellish it I used the new products “Bracket Sentiments” & “Bracket Dies”.

Here are some of the pics of how our house looked in the snow storm.  To record this date I used MCT “Stitched 4×6 Journal Die”.

For the title I used MCT “Lowercase Fun Dies”.  You can see the texture of the different media I used and the contrasting types.

LA&C ~ Reto #4 ~ Monograma

luardon-monogram-card-set¡Hola Chic@s!

¡Tus comentarios SIEMPRE ME ALEGRAN EL DIA! 😀
