MCT – Made in Minutes – Happy Pumpkin Spice Season

mct-gobble-gobble-fall-card-11-2016-1Happy Monday my crafty friends and welcome to “Made in Minutes” with  My Creative Time! Today I made a Fall card.  🙂

From start to finish it took less than 30 minutes.  I watercolored the background using Kuretake Zig Brush Markers and die-cut a rectangle using “Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More”.  I heat embossed the sentiment, pumpkins and leaves and watercolored them.  I die-cut the matching shapes from  “Gobble Gobble”.   To finish the card I added shiny sequins and Wink of Stella to the pumpkins.  I love how it turned out and best of all it was very easy to make! 😉

MCT – Made in Minutes – Christmas Chalkboard card

christmas-chalkboard-card-todo-con-papel-10-2015-1

Happy Monday my crafty friends and welcome to “Made in Minutes” with  My Creative Time! Today I made a Christmas chalkboard card.  🙂

From start to finish it took less than 20 minutes.  I used several MCT stamps and dies.  I stamped the striped border using “Geo Borders”.  I cut a rectangle (3.75″ x 5.5″) in black cardstock. To stamp on black cardstock I used Memento Luxe pigment ink pads.  I used all three sizes of pine branch stamps from “Boughs Of Holly” and the pine cones stamps from “Pretty Spring Wreaths”.  I used “Holiday Tags” and die-cut ‘merry christmas’ twice, once in foam sheet and once in glitter paper.  To create the chalk effect I used white ink and sponged the edges. To finish the card I added a tiny strip of red glitter cardstock.  I hope you like it and try to make your own. 😉

MCT – Made in Minutes – Feel Better Soon

mason-jar-feel-better-soon-todo-con-papel-07-2015-

Happy Monday my crafty friends and welcome to “Made in Minutes” with  My Creative Time! Today I made a Feel Better card.  🙂

From start to finish this card took me less than 30 minutes.  I heat embossed the mason jar and bouquet flowers from “My Thoughts are With You” in gold and colored them with Prismacolor Premier colored pencils.  I added a shadow using ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  I don’t recommend using them on regular cardstock as it starts to peel the fibers on the CS.  I heat embossed a sentiment from “Hey There Little Lady” and outlined it with a TH Distress marker.  To finish the card I added some gold sequins.  I hope you like it! 😀

MCT- Made In Minutes – Best Birthday Wishes Card

mct-best-birthday-wishes-feather-card-todo-con-papel-04-2015-1

Happy Monday my crafty friends and welcome to “Made in Minutes” with  My Creative Time! Today’s card from start to finish took less than 25 mins!!! I wanted to show you the progress but I didn’t realized that my camera stopped recording half way through. :'(

I started by die-cutting the different layers/mats using “Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More”.  Then I partially stamped the background using “Grainy Wood Background Stamp”. I heat embossed ‘Best’ from “You’re Fabulous”, ‘Birthday Wishes’ from the NEW “Thanks For The Lift” and the three different feathers from the NEW “Believe In Your Dreams”.
I die-cut their shapes with the included dies.

To finish the card I glued sequins, tied a bow using a retired SU Silver elastic cord and added some shimmer to the feathers using Wink of Stella (you can click on the photo to see how the shimmer looks).  I hope you like it! 🙂

MCT – Made in Minutes – Coffee & Friends

mct-coffee-and-friends-todo-con-papel-lucia-ardon-1-02-2015

Hello everyone!!!  Today is “Made in Minutes” at My Creative Time!!!  Today I was going through My Creative Time stamps and dies and I realized that I have stamps that I haven’t been able to use.

Today I made a Coffee and friends card.  From start to finish it only took me 20 mins!!! 😀  I used my COPIC markers to color this lovely coffee to go cup from MCT “Coffee Break” (includes matching dies).  I heat embossed the sentiment from MCT “Good Friends”.  For the background I used TH Distress ink and the “Splatter” stencil.

To finish the card I inked a stain from the same stencil and added a bottom border from MCT “Fun Stitches Edges”.  🙂

MCT – Made in Minutes – Vintage Thanks card

mct-thanks-card-todo-con-papel-front

Hello everyone!!!  Today is “Made in Minutes” at My Creative Time!!!  The other day I was looking at my paper drawer and discovered that I have no more room to store paper! I know, I know I’m a hoarder, so  I decided to start using it more in my projects.  😉
Today’s card is a vintage-girly graphic card.

mct-thanks-card-lucia-ardon-side

When I make my “Made in Minutes” cards most of the time I make a draft card and time myself and see what changes I can make.  As you can see the “smile” card is slightly different from the one in the video.  I had to skip making a bow on the final card.  Instead I made a knot. Otherwise it would’ve been another extra 5 mins, it takes me forever to make a bow!!!
