MCT – 45th Edition Release Blog Hop – Celebrate card

Happy Friday my crafty friends and welcome to My Creative Time! 45th Edition Release Blog Hop!!!  I hope you enjoyed this week’s sneak peeks as much as I did! 🙂  Today is reveal day…YAY!  If you came from Liz’s Blog, you are in the right place.  If you just happened to arrive here, you might want to start back at Emma’s blog, so that you don’t miss anything!

Today I’m showcasing the NEW MCT “Stitched Starburst Dies”.  Today I wanted to make a card that didn’t have dimension at all except for the sequins.  I was inspired by “Confetti” paper collection by Crate Paper.  I love this paper, it’s so colorful and full of happiness. 😉

I die-cut the NEW starburst die in different colors and sizes.  I colored them with COPIC markers to look like 3D rosettes. I die-cut ‘Celebrate’ from “Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More” and a picked stitched edge from “Fun Stitched Edges” in glitter paper.  To finish the card I added glossy accents to ‘Celebrate’ to make it pop, Wink of Stella to the centers of each rosette and glued some sequins.faux-3d-rosette-card-todo-con-papel-07-2015-0

Here’s a closer look at the faux 3D rosettes.  I hope you like it!!! 😀
