MCT – April Sneak Peek Day #2

Hello everyone and welcome back to My Creative Time sneak peek week.  Today we will be sneak peaking “Way To Go” and “Main Street”.  I love them.

For this card I wanted to be cheerful and fun.  I used the new MCT “Main Street” stamp set for the background.  I stamped the different buildings several times.  For the lightest buildings, I stamped first on a scrap and then on the card.  In order to create some depth, I masked the buildings in the foreground and then stamped them again.  To accentuate the depth of field I added some vellum. I think it looks great 🙂  For the sentiment I heat embossed the word “beautiful”.  I used the new “Way To Go” stamp set and the coordinating dies, they are AWESOME!!!

Here is a closer look of the coordinating dies which also heve extra shapes like the loaf of bread and the bottle of wine, aren’t these adorable?!  I didn’t want to leave the loaf of bread bare so I decided to add some wrapping paper and ink it a little bit.  Don’t forget to look at the stitched detail on the bike.
