Hello everyone and welcome to another fun new MCT Challenge: The Monochromatic Color Challenge! For this challenge you need to make any project of your choice using different shades of one color (you can use a different color as your base or background, just make sure your focal point shows the color you chose). Can you guess the color I chose? 😉
For this challenge I felt a little green and watery 😀 Since my hubby is Irish I decided to make a St. Patricks Day card. I watercolored part of the background (you can see a video here). I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the new MCT “I’m a Lucky Girl!” stamp set that was perfect for this card! I used the shamrock die from MCT “You’re My Pot Of Gold” and the frame from “Stitched Mini Frame & Arrow Dies”.
I used Peeled Paint Distress Marker and went around the edges of the letters to make them stand out a little more. I made my own enamel dots using Viva Decor Pen and let it dry over night. To finish it, I added a green and white twine bow.
