MCT – Whatever Wednesday #1 – Home Decor

Hello everyone!
My Creative Time has created new features for 2014! One of them is “Whatever Wednesday” where you make whatever you like! For quite some time I’ve wanted to make something for our home.  I call our home decoration “modern-rustic”. We like it clean and simple; we don’t have too many ornaments.  I guess that will change once we have kids 😉  So this was the perfect time for this project.  I decided to make a Valentine’s Day Home Decor. I hope you like it 😀

Valentine's Home Decor

When I got MCT “Rolled Flower” dies I felt in love with them immediately…so many ideas came into my head! and one of them was to cover a letter with roses. The letter “L” for LOVE and LUCIA, yep that’s me! (I love myself, hahaha just kidding). I love how it came out. It was a fun project. Now I can say I’ve mastered the art of paper roses 😉

I like how a little splash of color makes it pop on the mantel.
